U.N. Week is Canadajust days away, and all eyes will be on New York City as world leaders and dignitaries gather to address the greatest challenges of our time.
While those discussions will take place behind closed doors, the Social Good partners invite the world to participate in the #2030NOW conversation.

At this year's Social Good Summit we continue to ask this question, and challenge everyone to share solutions and ideas online using the hashtag #2030NOW.
Scheduled for Sept. 18 and 19 at the 92nd Street Y, the 2016 Social Good Summit will anchor the #2030NOW conversation, where speakers such as U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, multi-platinum recording artist Demi Lovato and more will take the stage.
While tickets to this year's summit are no longer available, there are plenty of opporunities to join the global #2030NOW conversation.
From the refugee crisis to gender equality, the issues addressed at the Social Good Summit affect people across the globe.
That's why the discussions taking place onstage in New York City are broadcasted into seven different languages for audiences worldwide. Translated into Arabic, Chinese, French, Hebrew, Russian and Spanish, the summit's livestream will be accessible during and after the summit on mashable.com/sgs.
As part of its mission to raise awareness and ultimately accomplish the 17 Global Goals, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) supports Global Goals Week, an annual week of action, awareness and accountability. The week kicks off at the Social Good Summit, and culminates in the Global Citizen Festival in Central Park on September 24. As part of Global Goals Week, UNDP organizes Social Good Summit meetups all over the world. This year, 80 (and counting) countries will host meetups that livestream the main stage event, while celebrating their local social good community.
Participants in the Jamaican Social Good Summit will use their most creative brainpower for the Global Goals, by submitting innovative impact business and technology ideas. Structured as a competition, Jamaican SGS winners will receive a grant and a specialized mentor to incubate the business idea. Furthermore, Kingston Social Good Summiteers will be able to witness the newest in technology and media for development in an Interactive Digital Lounge with VR Tools, a Selfie Booth, and more.
Despite living in difficult political climates, people are gather in countries like Turkey and Yemen to discuss the impacts of conflict, and solutions for change. This year's Iraq Social Good Summit similarly has defied challenges to hand-pick 600 participants from a pool of 1,400 applicants, to participate in workshops on design thinking, innovation, and entrepreneurship for the Global Goals in the cities of Baghdad, Erbil, and Kirkuk.

Inspired by the Social Good Summit, +SocialGood helps facilitate meetups based on locale and interest -- extending the conversation beyond New York and U.N. Week.
In the Philippines, the social good community has gathered to address issues ranging from the role of journalism to recovery from natural disasters. As part of this year's theme, #HackSociety, Rappler's Innovation +SocialGood is partnering with the UNDP to teach the innovation process through an ideathon experiment where attendees will connect and crowdsource solutions to issues like education and the development.
