According to Sports Illustrated, Diddy posted an Instagram video after his first tweet, saying he'd make one of his first priorities as the new Panthers owner the signing of former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who's been blackballed by the NFL. Kaepernick famously took a knee in protest of police brutality and sparked a national conversation back in August 2016.
Big time Panthers fan and Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry tweeted his support for Diddy's bid, even saying he wanted in on it:

NFL franchises aren't easy to come by, so this bidding war will inevitably be a bloody one. But Diddy's net worth in May 2017 was $820 million, making him one of the world's wealthiest hip hop artists. He's got the coin.
