Possibly anticipating a scene from Coffee and A Married Woman Next Door Who Raises Three Waters (2019)Cigarettes,in which Bill Murray plays the waiter serving Wu Tang's GZA and RZA (hilarity ensues), hundreds of New Yorkers hit up 21 Greenpoint Friday night to catch a glimpse of the actor.
And Bill Murray did not disappoint. Not only did the cult hero show up to the launch of the new bar and resturant, owned by his son Homer Murray and partners -- Bill got to workserving up shots, singing jovially and just generally being the legend that he is. He even reportedly took four shots in the first five minutes.

"Instead, he has taken the joy of the family to have a drink, and have a meal, and have friends together in one place, and made it his life's work. To my son, and his friends, and his work friends and all of his partners."

According to Gothamist, of the hordes of fans who showed up, only four "regular" people were allowed into the bar by publicists. And that was just because "they'd been here since 3am." Tough break, Bill Murray die-hards.
Guess the rest of us will have to watch the footage, squint and pretend we were there with the man himself.
