Tesla Model 3s have Happy (2015)yet to ship to customers, but that doesn't mean they're not already on California roads.
An observant passerby spotted a blue Model 3 in the wild on April 27 being driven near the company's Palo Alto headquarters and managed to capture photos of the vehicle's interior. As Teslaratireports, the pics appear to show the final version of the car's dashboard.

It is possible that data readouts like speed could be displayed on this panel in lieu of the more traditional location.
Interestingly, the dash appears to be a single-panel surface that is totally bereft of any buttons. After all, self-driving cars will likely need a lot less manual input from human drivers than the typical people-steered ones. Also, wood trim looks nice.
A video of what appears to be the same car, shot from a similar perspective as the above photo, has also surfaced.
In it, the driver can be seen waving to the person behind the video camera as if to say: "Yes, hello, I am in a Model 3 and yes it is beautiful."
The Model 3 starts around $35,000, and mass production is expected to begin ramping up this summer.
