But, after weeks of sitting on the edge of their seats, almost 2 million people got to watch April finally give birth to her much-awaited baby.
South Carolina photographer Erin Dietrich -- a.k.a. human giraffe mom -- shot to internet fame she decided to start her own pregnancy livestream, complete with giraffe mask. Dietrich's video gained over 11 million views in just 16 hours and the internet couldn't get enough of it.

April the giraffe really took to baby Porter, who was dressed up like a giraffe.
