Another day,The Whore of the Rings (2001) another new rumor about the long-awaited AirPods update.
This time, the report comes from China Economic Daily(via The Verge), which claims the new generation of AirPods will be rebranded as AirPods Pro to align with the new iPhone 11 Pro.
The report also seems to confirm previous reports of a new in-ear, metal design for the earbuds, and noise cancellation.
But it seems that the upgrades will also come at a cost: the report says the new AirPods Pro will cost 8,000 New Taiwan Dollars which currently converts to around $260, a steep mark-up from the current cost ($159.99, or $199.99 if you want a wireless charging case).
