Uber's new feature should make trip planning easier

"Riders will now be able to see insights into the average wait time and cost of a ride from all local airports and within a given city," Uber said in a press release. "Plus, you’ll have the option to reserve rides for upcoming trips. Just tap 'where to?' and select 'search in a different city' to get started."

Flying Blue gives users points with Air France-KLM Group if they use Uber in France and the Netherlands; Uber Bubbles, a champagne tour bookable through the Uber app, has more open reservations; and Uber Cruise allows people to book a private cruise on the river Seine.

"With Summer in full swing, and a record number of Americans taking to the skies for their long awaited vacations, these updates are meant to help customers more easily plan for – and save on – their summer travels to Paris and beyond," the company said in a press release.

The new feature will start rolling out on July 16.
