Not everything about 2017 is indian teen sex videobad — at least we still have Stranger Things.
On Friday Netflix announced that the Duffer brothers' hit show is getting picked up for a third season (duh), which means we're not done obsessing over Hawkins, Indiana, just yet.

The streaming service shared the news on Twitter after posting a poll asking fans if they wanted more episodes. (Obviously, fans voted yes because we need more Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, and Millie Bobby Brown in our lives.)
Season two of the show dropped in October and The Hollywood Reporter noted that according to data from Nielsen 15.8 million viewers had watched the premiere within just three days of its launch.
This year Netlfix also released a Stranger Things after-show called Beyond Stranger Things, so the streaming platform seems to be just as obsessed with the Upside Down as fans are.
No word yet on when the next season is expected but here's hoping the wait isn't too painful.
