Remember the pink Lyft mustaches?Hindi Dubbed Archives No, they're not back, but their glory lives on in Lyft's new monthly membership plan: Lyft Pink.
Starting Tuesday, you can sign up for the plan's waitlist. With Lyft Pink, you'll pay $19.99 per month for 15-percent ride-share discounts every time, free bike and scooter rides (it's capped, so not unlimited), "relaxed" cancellations for which you're normally charged a fee, and other perks, discounts, and deals, like on car rentals and airport pickups. Surprises are also in the mix: Think sudden ride upgrades and special pricing.
Once you sign up in the app, the membership plan is kept in the Lyft app under the new Lyft Pink tab.
For Lyft users who order a ride a few times a week, this could be worth it. Lyft previously offered the Lyft All-Access Plan, which cost $300 per month for heavy users. That option is phasing out with the arrival of Lyft Pink. Other ride passes are occasionally offered to lock in riders to the app.
Once people start signing up, membership will roll out until it's available everywhere nationwide by the end of this year.
Uber has its own monthly pass, called Uber Pass, for $24.99 per month. It similarly offers complimentary Jump services on its e-bikes and scooters (capped at 30 minutes free per day), ride discounts, and price protection. For Uber Eats fans, there's also a separate Eats Pass, which costs $9.99 per month and grants unlimited free delivery and meal deals. That was announced last month as part of more subscription services offered through Uber.

The ride-share companies want to get us hooked on all the services they now offer — and stay loyal to a particular company across those services. If you're already paying each month, that'll do it.
