One of the coolest features of the iPhone X is Watch Bridgette B - Scared Topless (2013)the Face ID facial recognition. While it trips up on twins, it seems to handle low light and glasses just fine. But what about makeup? Like, makeupmakeup.

If you're of the Instagram influencer or Kardashian variety, you might be contouring and understandably wondering whether you can rely on the facial recognition that you're paying a premium for on the iPhone X.
In that case, we've got good news for you. Makeup artists Jolie Contento and Jasmine Paulino built up progressively heavier contouring looks and we tried to use Face ID to unlock the iPhone X in between each one. From basic to night-on-the-town extra, we were able to unlock it every time. It may not get you through Halloween, but your glam selfies should be no problem.
