Luckily, Redditor DimensionsInTime has broken down their latest scene in spectacularly exhaustive detail.
Phew, that's a lot to unpack.
The most interesting bit, though, is the parallel between Cersei and Qyburn and the Mad King and Pycelle.
We know Game of Thronesis a show that loves its circularity. There have already seen parallels drawn between the Mad King's love of wildfire and Cersei's use of it to kill off her enemies last Season.
Now we have another parallel: just like the Mad King, Cersei only seems to have one person left that she trusts.
And it's not her brother.
Deep down, Jaime has probably been aware of this for awhile now.
Cersei's "don't ever betray me again" comment was just one more piece of evidence in a long, long line.
The question is, will it be enough to finally push him away from her?
