UK politics is Taro Kai Archivessomething of a mess at the moment.
An explanation of the ongoing Brexit situation would probably need an entire book to explain at this point, but you can catch up on the latest developments (of which there are plenty) here.
Tuesday was a particularly long day, in which Prime Minister Boris Johnson lost a key battle to MPs trying to block a no-deal Brexit, leading to rumbles that we may have yet another general election on our hands.
Still, the one admittedly thin silver lining to a dramatic day in Parliament is that it usually leads to at least one or two good memes -- and yesterday was no exception.
One memorable moment came when Leader of the House of Commons and Tory MP Jacob Rees-Mogg was criticised by Green Party MP Caroline Lucas for slouching in his seat.

"The leader of the House has been spread across three seats, lying out as if that was something very boring for him to listen to," says Lucas in the clip above, prompting other MPs to bark "sit up" at Rees-Mogg.

It's practically begging to be photoshopped, isn't it?

No matter what happens politically, at least we'll always have the memes.
That's something to cling onto, right?
