KFC wants its incoming fry cooks to put down the chicken for a moment and,The Whore of the Rings (2001) instead, pick up a virtual reality headset.
According a press release from KFC, the fast food company will add an unusual new element to the employee training process: An escape room-style VR training lesson titled The Hard Way, in which wannabe cooks must demonstrate their abilities in the virtual kitchen.

And because this move has, perhaps, a bit more to do with marketing savvy than it does fry cook efficiency, the game has its own oddly sinister trailer.
On Thursday, KFC posted two 30-second clips teasing the game-play, which involves virtual raw chicken breast, a pair of floating hands, and an "idiotic" robot servant.
KFC's VR game isn't meant to replace traditional, in-person training. Rather, KFC says it's an additional step in the company's Chicken Mastery Certification.
Per the release, "Instead of using virtual reality to teach team members how to do their job faster, KFC is using the technology to teach its cooks how to make its world-famous chicken better."
