1. The millennial pink egg

No matter which shade you think is the real deal, millennial pink is the color that just won't go away. So embrace it by dyeing your egg a rose quartz, or a muted coral, or the color of rosé, or the color of the Glossier logo. Wait, has millennial pink just become all light pinks that aren't bright? Does anyone know?

2. The unicorn egg

Unicorn cakes and unicorn macarons are a thing now, and so are unicorn eggs. All you need to make your own: a horn (ours is the sharp end of a dowel colored in with silver Sharpie), ears cut from felt and a marker to draw on eyes. The best part about making this egg is that it looks cool, but requires almost zero skills.

3. The ruffle egg

Ruffled shirts and sleeves are all over the place right now, so why not glue a nice ruffle to your egg and let it flap around in the breeze? We've added googly eyes here for an extra bit of questionable anthropomorphism.

For best results, wear a ruffled shirt of your own so you and your egg(s) can match. Best friends!

4. The Coachella egg

Coachella is on the horizon, so make sure your egg is prepared. You'll need to make your own flower crown: the flower crowns at Urban Outfitters are, like, $20, and they are also not the right size for an egg.

5. The Brussels sprout egg

According to Harry Styles, brussels sprouts are the new kale, and we have no choice but to believe him. Brussels sprouts also look like fun little pompoms, which are also trendy. The natural conclusion here is to glue a bunch of Brussels sprout pieces to an Easter egg.

Everyonewill ask questions about this egg: "Why did you do that" and "Shouldn't you put those vegetables in the fridge," for example. This means you have done a good job.

6. The "no-makeup look" egg

Is this egg wearing mascara? You'll never know for sure, but, wow, so dewy. If this egg is the egg you choose to make, be sure to select a moisturizer with SPF.
