Those walking the 310 km-long route -- which runs between Rome and Ortona -- are invited to gather around the fountain, which is designed as a meeting place for fellow pilgrims and wine lovers.
"The fountain is made by the famous Italian architect Rocco Valentini, so actually it's not just a place to drink but a piece of modern art thanks to his work," a spokesperson for the winery told Mashable. In the fountain's first week, thousands of visitors have come to drink.
However, there is one caveat.
The spokesperson stressed that the wine fountain is not a takeaway point. If you want to enjoy the wine, you'll have to stay put.
