Prime Day 2025003 Archivesofficially coming in July, Amazon announced in a press release early on April 29.
Not that anyone thought Prime Day wasn't happening this year or anything, but the buzz surrounding such a huge sale event doeshave a slightly different energy when many people have a recession on the brain.
From electronics to cleaning supplies to clothes, President Donald Trump's tariffs have caused price increases and general economic chaos. And many of the everyday items getting more expensive are Prime Day classics. The official post doesn't actually mention tariffs, of course, but Bezos and friends are well aware of the economic stress that many Prime members are experiencing. Given that intel, we wouldn't be surprised if this is finally the year that Amazon makes Prime Day longer than the usual 48 hours.
For now, Amazon has confirmed that it's blocked out time for Prime Day in its typical July time slot, but the exact dates of Prime Day 2025 haven't been disclosed yet. Amazon announced the specific dates for Prime Day 2024 (July 16 and 17) in late June, when it also began releasing some early Prime Day deals.
If Prime Day 2025 mimics the typical schedule we've been seeing for the past few years, we can assume it'll start on a Tuesday in early-to-mid July and run for two days. You could roughly pencil in July 8 through 11 or July 15 through 18 for Prime Day 2025, though again, the two-day window isn't set in stone.
