After eight years in the White House, this isn't the first time the first lady has wowed with her style choices.
She's become known for her bold and fashion-forward looks, from her blue dress at the Democratic National Convention and her marigold outfit at January's State of the Union address.
Guests at the dinner were served an Italian-inspired meal cooked up by celebrity chef Mario Batali, the Associated Press reports.
The four-course menu included butternut squash salad and American Wagyu beef. For dessert, guests had green apple crostata and buttermilk gelato.
To make things even more stylish, the White House lined up Gwen Stefani to perform.
